I Just Finished Recording My Audiobook!

Hey everybody!

I am so excited to announce...that I have finished recording my audiobook for The Laurille Legacy (The Haighdlen Chronicles, Book 1)!

I know I still have a long road ahead of me as far as editing goes, but what an exhilarating feeling!

This is something that was really important for me to do. When I'm out at vendor sales with my books, I always hear people say they don't have time to read. I get that! An audiobook is a great way around that since it can be played in the car to and from work/school. My uncle, who loves listening to audiobooks, has been encouraging me to take on this project. I had originally considered hiring a narrator, but the more I looked it up, the more I wanted to be the one to read it. These characters are so close to my heart, and I wanted to bring them to life for everyone the way I heard it in my head. I hope I do it justice and people are able to connect with the story.

This is also another outlet I want to use to reach more readers. My book has been published for one year now, but I'm still trying to learn the ropes when it comes to marketing and promoting. I also just released the hardback version of my book as well. I want to be able to offer it in every format possible so the reader can decide what's best for them. I'm also hard at work on the second book in my series. There's so much to learn. I'm fortunate enough to have found some really great motivational writing groups on Facebook as well as other professionals in this field.
