The Weather Ruined My Recording Session...So Here's a Post!

Hello everyone!

I am hard at work creating the audiobook version to my first novel, The Laurille Legacy. Currently, I am on chapter 18 out of 27.

Tonight was turning out to be like any other recording session until....BOOM. A clap of thunder distracted me followed by the pitter patter of raindrops. Needless to say, that recording session was over. Rather than being bummed out, though, I decided to make a post since it's been a while.

I recently joined a group on Facebook called "Moms Who Write". It is a large, supportive group that I am proud of be a part of. I can't believe there are so many who are in the same boat as me. Being a mom is my dream, and I love it, but throw in a full time teaching job, and you're stuck trying to fit in time to write and record when everyone goes to bed.

I know I'm not the only one who wishes for more time to write. My family is my life, so I don't mind putting them first, but I won't lie...there's nothing like sitting down at the computer with a nice cup of coffee and music playing through my headphones.
